Provide a Monthly Enterprise Channel preview channel ASAP
The new guidance at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/overview-update-channels indicates there is no way to systematically preview the Monthly Enterprise Channel across our estate.
Why is there a preview channel for Current and Semi-Annual Enterprise, but not Monthly Enterprise??
It's vital that we have a pilot group of devices to ensure an update doesn't break an integration or have some other problem. Equally, semi-annual is becoming a pain as users are demanding the features they know others have who are on a monthly release (I'm looking at you, XLOOKUP). Microsoft are clearly trying to get the majority onto monthly releases (Current or Monthly Enterprise) based on this new policy, but beyond a certain size, we can't have devices haphazardly updating like this and need to ensure business critical functions aren't broken by whatever new change is out this month.
The official advice is "you can have a representative sample of users in your organization download and start using the new version as soon as it becomes available on the Office CDN" - I'm sorry, you want me to contact these users and ask them to manually trigger the updates? Is this a bad joke?
